Why’s it gotta’ be so hard?! To have a little peace of mind, to try and forget all of the bad times, to cry out but not victimize, to be someone that they approve of and somehow still find me without any help...why’s it gotta’ be so difficult for me, I’m not the issue, I swear I’m not the issue, but I don’t have anyone else I can point fingers at this time.
What am I to do in this crazy life? Who would I be if I just gave up and gave away control? Who could be if I just stood up and said "no"...could I even say "no" or would they just overrule me?
They say it’s something I gotta’ do alone, but how can I find myself if there is no me to be centered around?! How does it all make sense? And why is ‘alone’ so crowded in my head? The answers are all unknown to me and I think I might be drowning in the metaphorical deep, but maybe that’s just anxiety and lack of sleep blabbering on as they always have seemed to...all I can think to say is a feeble little “help me!” but I don’t want any help since nobody even knows me.
