[tex]4\left(5x-2\right)=2\left(9x+3\right)[/tex]

Answers

Answer:

Solution of equation ( x ) = 7

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question we have given with an equation that is 4 ( 5x - 2 ) = 2 ( 9x + 3 ). And we are asked to solve this equation that means we have to find the value of x.

Solution : -

[tex] \quad \longrightarrow \: 4 ( 5x - 2 ) = 2 ( 9x + 3 )[/tex]

Step 1 : Removing parenthesis :

[tex] \quad \longrightarrow \:20x - 8 = 18x + 6[/tex]

Step 2 : Adding 8 from both sides :

[tex] \quad \longrightarrow \:20x - \cancel{ 8 }+ \cancel{8} = 18x + 6 + 8[/tex]

On further calculations we get :

[tex] \quad \longrightarrow \:20x = 18x + 14[/tex]

Step 3 : Subtracting 18 from both sides :

[tex] \quad \longrightarrow \:20x - 18x = \cancel{18x }+ 14 - \cancel{18}[/tex]

On further calculations we get :

[tex] \quad \longrightarrow \:2x = 14[/tex]

Step 4 : Dividing with 2 on both sides :

[tex] \quad \longrightarrow \: \frac{ \cancel{ 2}x}{ \cancel{2}} = \cancel{\frac{14}{2} }[/tex]

On further calculations we get :

[tex] \quad \longrightarrow \: \blue{\boxed{ \frak{x = 7}}}[/tex]

Therefore, solution of this equation is 7 or we can say that value of this equation is 7 .

Verifying : -

We are verifying our answer by substituting value of x in given equation. So ,

4 ( 5x - 2 ) = 2 ( 9x + 3 )

4 [ 5 ( 7 ) - 2 ] = 2 [ 9 ( 7 ) + 3 ]

4 ( 35 - 2 ) = 2 ( 63 + 3 )

4 ( 33 ) = 2 ( 66 )

132 = 132

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence, Verified.

Therefore, our value for x is correct .

In the above question, we have to solve the equation and find the value of x. So,

[tex] \\ {\longrightarrow \pmb{\sf {\qquad 4(5x-2)=2(9x+3) }}} \\ \\ [/tex]

Using distributive property we get :

[tex] \\ {\longrightarrow \pmb{\sf {\qquad 20x-8=18x+6 }}} \\ \\ [/tex]

Adding (-18x) to both sides we get :

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the triangle sum theorem, the three interior angles of any triangle add up to 180 degrees. So, if we add up the three angles given, to be a triangle, they have to add up to 180 degrees.

38 + 42 + 110 = 190

So, ( (1)  38, 42, 110 ) is not a triangle becuase it adds up to more than 180 degrees (1).

20 + 40 + 120 = 180

So, ( (2)  38, 42, 110 ) is a triangle because it adds up to 180 degrees (2).

For the lengths for a triangle, the length of one side of a triangle must be greater than the difference and less than the sum of the lengths of the other two sides. This is saying:

What is the Range and Interquartile Range of a Data Set?

Range = Maximum value - minimum value

Interquartile range (IQR) = Q3 - Q1

Range and IQR are both measures of variability. The larger the value, the more spread the data values in a data set are.

Range for Arnold's training times = 102 - 84 = 18

Range for Jackson's training times = 103 - 83 = 20

Therefore, Jackson's training times had the greatest spread.

Interquartile range for Arnold's training times = Q3 - Q1 = 99 - 87 = 12

Interquartile range for Jackson's training times = Q3 - Q1 = 100 - 87 = 13

Thus, Arnold's middle 50% of his training times had the least spread.

The range and interquartile range tells us that, Arnold's training times are more consistent than Jackson's.

Answers

Answer:

1/12 + 3/12 = 4/12 (or 1/3)

Step-by-step explanation:

we want to express

1/12 + 1/4 as 1/12 + something / 12

1/12 + 1/4 = 1/12 + something/12

we already have the 1/12 part, so we're left with

1/4 = something / 12

first, we can calculate (denominator we want) / (denominator we have) = 12/4 = 3

then, we want to multiply our current value (1/4) by our result of the multiplication divided by itself.

3/3 = 1

1/4 = 1/4 * 1 = 1/4 * 3/3 = 3/12

thus, our second value is 3/12

we then have 1/12 + 3/12

if we have the same denominators, we can simply add the numerators up

1/12 + 3/12 = (1+3)/12 = 4/12

The regression line is not a good model because the residuals are not randomly distributed.

What is the residual plot?

For a residual plot to represent a good model, the points on the residual plot must be randomly distributed across the coordinates.

From a regression, the residual is the difference between the observed values and the predicted values.

Using the graph, we can see that the points that follow a pattern (or curve) regression line is not a good model because the residuals are not randomly distributed.

A. 12
B. 13
C. 54
D. 72

Answers

The volume of the rectangular prism filled with unit cubes each measuring the value of the length given is 72ft³.

Hence, Option D) 72ft³ is the correct answer.

Rectangular Prism and Cube

A rectangular prism is simply a three-dimensional solid shape with six faces which are rectangles.

The volume of a rectangular prism is expressed as;

V = l × w × h

Where l is length, w is width and h is height of the prism

A cube is a three-dimensional solid with six equal square-shaped sides.

Given the data in the question;

Length of the sides of the cube = 1 footLength of the rectangular prism l = 4 cubes × 1 foot = 4ftWidth of the rectangular prism w = 3 cubes × 1 foot = 3ftHeight of the rectangular prism l = 6 cubes × 1 foot = 6ft

To determine the volume of the rectangular prism, we substitute our given values into the expression above.

V = l × w × h

V = 4ft × 3ft × 6ft

V = 72ft³

Option D) 72ft³ is the correct answer.

Hence, the volume of the rectangular prism filled with unit cubes each measuring the value of the length given is 72ft³.

Amanda sold 3 rolls of plain wrapping paper and 3 rolls of shiny wrapping paper for a total of $60. Molly sold 1 roll of plain wrapping paper and 9 rolls of shiny wrapping paper for a total of $132. What is the cost each of one roll of plain wrapping paper and one roll of shiny wrapping paper? (no links please)

Answers

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Solving system of symultaneous equation:

Let the cost of one roll of plain wrapping pair = x

Let the cost of one shiny wrapping paper = y

Amanda:

   Cost of 3 rolls of plain paper + cost of 3 rolls of shiny paper = $ 60

3*x + 3*y = 60

3x + 3y = 60 ------------------(I)

Molly:

 Cost of 1 roll of plain paper + cost of 9 rolls of shiny paper = $ 132

  x + 9y = 132 ---------------------(II)

         x  = 132 - 9y ---------------(III)

Substitute x = 132 -9y in equation (I)

  3*(132-9y) + 3y = 60

3*132 - 3*9y + 3y = 60

    396 - 27y + 3y = 60

         Combine like terms

            396 - 24y  = 60

       Subtract 396 from both sides

                  -24y  =  60 - 396

                  -24y   = -336

        Divide both sides by (-24)

                      y   = -336/(-24)

[tex]\sf \boxed{y=14}[/tex]

Now, substitue y = 14 in equation (III)

x = 132 - 9*14

    = 132 - 126

[tex]\sf \boxed{x = 6}[/tex]

cost of one roll of plain wrapping paper = $ 6

Cost of one roll of shiny wrapping paper = $ 14
