How did the United States influence the European theater of World War II?

Answers

Answer:

Even when the outcome of the war became evident, the US wanted to secure areas of influence in post-WW2 Europe and not to allow all the Europe to fall under Soviet influence. So they had to make the ground landing in Europe in the end of the war so to capture as large territory as possible before the Soviet arrival. The Soviets did not object to that because they had suffered very heavy casualties, and wanted any help that was possible, even at expense of post-WW2 influence.

When did Egypt enter a 500 year period of peace

Answers

Answer: i skimmed wiki for a few minutes and found this.......

Egypt remained entirely Ottoman until 1867, except during French occupation from 1798 to 1801.[2] Starting in 1867, Egypt became a nominally autonomous tributary state called the Khedivate of Egypt. However, Khedivate Egypt fell under British control in 1882 following the Anglo-Egyptian War. After the end of World War I and following the Egyptian revolution of 1919, the Kingdom of Egypt was established. While a de jure independent state, the United Kingdom retained control over foreign affairs, defense, and other matters. British occupation lasted until 1954, with the Anglo-Egyptian agreement of 1954.

Who were the 4 main groups in Haiti in the 1700s?

Answers

Answer: population.

Despite starting small economically, the island of Saint Domingue (now known as Haiti), developed to be one of the richest islands in the world, with a really organized, yet unfairly divided society. Before The Revolution, the Island of Saint Domingue was used as a Pirate outpost. Later, the French convinced these pirates to give up piracy and settle on the Island. The pirates accepted and used their wealth to create large plantations. In these plantations, a massive amount of sugar was produced in extremely low working conditions (Crash Course). Soon, Saint Domingue was trading so much of this sugar, that it became one of the most valuable islands in the world. Though being wealth was a big achievement, it also came with a downside. The Island had the second largest slave count in the world after Brazil. By the 18th century, more slaves were brought in from Africa every year, than the entire white population of the island. Constantly raising by these numbers, by the 19th century the island’s population consisted 90% of slaves (Crash Course). These slaves lived under terrible conditions. Yellow fever, small pox, and miserable working conditions did not allow growth of the slave population through reproduction (Crash Course). The population growth was only caused by new imports. Plantations were known to have up to 200 slaves. This harsh slavery created separations in the social classes of Saint Domingue. At the time, colonial society was divided into 4 groups:

In the highest positions came the White Planters. These were the wealthiest, since they were the ones who owned the plantations, and the slaves.

Next, came the free people of color. This Social class was created by children of the white men and slave women. This children were often freed from slavery by their fathers, since they were higher in the social ladder. The wealthy free people of color even could own plantations and slaves of their own.

Then came the Petit Blancs, which is French for the “poor whites”. The petit blancs were often shopkeepers, artisans, and teachers.

Last in the hierarchy came the slaves, who were brought in from Africa to work in the sugar plantations. They slaves had extremely poor working conditions and they weren’t payed for their labor. (Crash Course)

All of these social separations played a huge role later on, which would later influence the revolution.

Explanation: that  is good right lol

Answer: Its success pushed France to abolish slavery in 1794, and the Haitian Revolution outlasted the French Revolution. Who did the Haitian Revolution involve? These are some of the people involved in the Haitian Revolution: Vincent Ogé, an affranchi, led an unsuccessful revolt in October 1790.Queen Anacaona, leader of the last Taino kingdom in Haiti, is executed by Spanish governor. Ferdinand II of Aragon officially established Spain's African slave trade. Don Sebastián Ramirez de Fuente became the first Catholic bishop of the island. The only group described as an ethnic minority in Haiti were the Arab Haitians, people descended from Syrian, Lebanese, and Palestinian traders who began to arrive in Haiti and elsewhere in the Caribbean in the late nineteenth century.

Assume you have none of the rights listed below. How would you rank them in terms of importance? In which order would you seek to acquire them and why
A. Right to receive education in Public Schools

B. Right to attend a university or earn an advanced degree

C. Right to own property

D. Right to obtain a divorce

E. Right to marry the person of your choice

F. Right to vote

G.Right to dress as you choose

Answers

F, E, A, B, C, D, G. This is my order because I believe the right to vote is very very important to our democracy. The right to marry who you want is important as well because you will live a miserable life if you marry someone you hate. Education is very important because you can’t succeed without an education or a degree in college. The right to own property isn’t as important as the other things but it’s still considered a right. Same thing for divorce it’s not as important to me but should still be a right. And I don’t really care how I dress.
