The 15th and 19th Amendments expanded suffrage to all males and women...this
helped to emphasize which principle of the Constitution?
Limited Government
Popular Sovereignty
Separation of Powers
Judicial Review

Answers

Answer 1

In order to prevent conflicts between the authorities of one branch and those of the other branches, a state's government is divided into "branches," each having distinct, autonomous powers and responsibilities. In an organizational system known as the separation of powers, duties, responsibilities, and power are distributed across many entities rather than being held centrally.

The principle of separation of powers, to put it simply, supports the idea that the three functions of the government should be exercised by three distinct bodies. Legislators should only utilize their authority to enact laws, the executive branch should only carry out law enforcement duties, and the judiciary should only carry out adjudication and judicial duties.

The purpose of the 15th Amendment was to make it simple for African Americans to vote. Every citizen of the United States had the right to vote regardless of race, color, or previous servitude.

The Voting Rights Act only made the 15th Amendment stronger by making it illegal to discriminate in voting.

The Republican desire to consolidate power in both the North and the South was the primary motivation behind the 15th Amendment. Black votes would assist in achieving that goal. In 1869, Congress approved the measure, and in 1870, the required three-fourths of the states ratified it immediately. The four challenges among the ones listed that appeared right after the fall of the Soviet Union are options A, C, D and E, as explained below.

A. transition to free-market economies.C. rise of ethnic tensions.D. creation of separate and independent government.E. control of the nuclear arsenals installed by the former Soviet Union.

The aftermath of the Soviet Union

Transition to free-market economies became a significant challenge for countries after the fall of the Soviet Union because they had to restructure their economies from socialist to capitalist systems. The countries had to privatize state-owned industries, open up their economies to foreign investment, and create regulatory frameworks for businesses.

The rise of ethnic tensions was another significant challenge faced by countries after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union was a multinational state that consisted of many different ethnic groups. When the Soviet Union dissolved, these ethnic groups found themselves in new states and countries, and many of them faced discrimination and marginalization. This led to conflicts and tensions between different ethnic groups, which were often violent and difficult to resolve.

The creation of separate and independent governments was another challenge since countries had to establish new governments, create constitutions, and develop legal systems. This was a difficult task, as many of these countries had never had independent governments before and lacked the necessary expertise and resources to establish effective governance structures.

Finally, the Soviet Union had one of the largest nuclear arsenals in the world, and when it dissolved, many of these weapons were left in the hands of newly independent countries. The international community had to work together to ensure that these weapons did not fall into the wrong hands and that they were safely dismantled or secured.

With that in mind, we have correctly answered this question.

What did W.E.B. Dubois begin to criticize the NAACP for in 1934?

Answers

Answer:

Du Bois served as editor of The Crisis until 1934, when he resigned following a rift with NAACP leadership over his controversial stance on segregation. He viewed the "separate but equal" status as an acceptable position for Blacks.

In 1934, W.E.B. Dubois began to criticize the NAACP for being too focused on legal challenges and not doing enough to address economic and social inequality faced by African Americans.

He believed that the organization needed to shift its priorities to include a broader range of issues and advocate for more radical solutions. Dubois also criticized the organization for being too conservative and not embracing more progressive ideas.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is a civil rights organization in the United States, formed in 1909 as an interracial endeavor to advance justice for African Americans by a group including W. E. B. Du Bois, Mary White Ovington, Moorfield Storey and Ida B. Wells.

As editor of The Crisis Du Bois finally established the journal of opinion that had so long eluded him, one that could serve as a platform from which to reach a larger audience among African Americans and one that united the multiple strands of his life's work.

In its monthly issues he rallied black support for NAACP policies and programs and excoriated white opposition to equal rights. But he also opened the journal to discussions of diverse subjects related to race relations and black cultural and social life, from black religion to new poetic works.

The journal's cover displayed a rich visual imagery embodying the sheer diversity and breadth of the black presence in America. Thus the journal constituted, simultaneously, a forum for multiple expressions of and the coherent representation and enactment of black intellectual and cultural life.

A mirror for and to black America, it inspired a black intelligentsia and its public. From his vantage as an officer of the NAACP, Du Bois also furthered another compelling intellectual and political interest, Pan-Africanism.

The most likely decay mode for au-202 is beta decay.

This is because the nucleus of au-202 is unstable and has excess protons, which can be converted into neutrons through beta decay. By undergoing beta decay, the nucleus of au-202 can achieve a more stable configuration, leading to the release of energy in the form of gamma rays.

When an atomic nucleus emits a beta particle, the original nuclide changes into an isobar of that nuclide, which is known as beta decay in nuclear physics. Explanation:

B. The legal status of slavery in the new territories is the issue that created conflict between the North and the South when Kansas and Nebraska were added as territories.

The Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854 allowed the territories of Kansas and Nebraska to decide for themselves whether or not to allow slavery. This effectively repealed the Missouri Compromise of 1820, which had prohibited slavery north of the 36°30' parallel.

This issue created conflict between the North and the South because the North believed that slavery was immoral and should be banned everywhere, while the South believed that slavery was necessary to their economy and way of life. The North saw the Kansas-Nebraska Act as a betrayal of the Missouri Compromise and an attempt by the South to expand slavery into new territories. This led to violence and bloodshed in Kansas, as pro-slavery and anti-slavery settlers fought for control of the territory.

A is not the correct answer because the representation in Congress was not the primary issue of conflict. The North and South were already divided on the issue of slavery, and the Kansas-Nebraska Act did not significantly alter the balance of power in Congress.

C is not the correct answer because the geographic size of the territories was not a major issue of conflict. Both the North and the South were interested in expanding their territories, but the issue of slavery was more important to them.

D is not the correct answer because the power of local governments in the territories was not the primary issue of conflict. While there were disagreements over the structure of local government in Kansas, the primary issue was the legal status of slavery in the territory.

The manorial system was the dominant economic and social system in medieval Europe, and it was characterized by a hierarchy of lords and peasants, with the lord owning the land and the peasants working it.
The peasants were responsible for farming the land and providing the lord with a share of their crops, as well as performing various other services, such as repairing roads and bridges, and serving in the lord's army. In exchange, the lord provided the peasants with protection and a place to live. This system allowed for economic self-sufficiency, as the peasants were able to grow their own food and produce goods for their own consumption. Cual era la mision del partido union de puerto rico

Answers

The Union of Puerto Rico, often known as the Unionist Party, was a major political party in Puerto Rico during the early twentieth century. Between 1904 to 1932, the Union of Puerto Rico was the island's main political party.

UPR founder Luis Muoz Rivera also formed La Democracia, which effectively served as the UPR publication. On February 19, 1904, the Union of Puerto Rico party became the first mass party to campaign for Puerto Rico's independence as an independent nation.

Puerto Rico's 3.2 million residents are US citizens because it is a US territory. While subject to federal laws in the United States, island-based Puerto Ricans cannot vote in presidential elections and have no voting representation in Congress. It is neither a state nor an independent country because it is a US possession.
