Answer:

Struggles of our Life

Once upon a time, a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed. Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire.
Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot and ground coffee beans in the third pot. He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing. After twenty minutes he turned off the burners. He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup.
Turning to her, he asked. “Daughter, what do you see?” “Potatoes, eggs and coffee,” she hastily replied.
“Look closer”, he said, “and touch the potatoes.” She did and noted that they were soft.
He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg.
Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face.
“Father, what does this mean?” she asked.
He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coffee beans had each faced the same adversity-the boiling water. However, each one reacted differently. The potato went in strong, hard and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak. The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. Then the inside of the egg became hard. However, the ground coffee beans were unique. After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.
“Which one are you?” he asked his daughter. “When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean?”
Moral: In life, things happen around us, things happen to us, but the only thing that truly matters is how you choose to react to it and what you make out of it. Life is all about leaning, adopting and converting all the struggles that we experience into something positive.

Identify the graph of the following equation.
x < -3
Answer:
The 1st Graph (A)
Step-by-step explanation:
Test by substituting values for "x":
By substituting the numbers of 0 (0 < -3), -1 (-1 < -3), and -2 (-2 < -3), does that make the statement true?
The answer is FALSE. None of those values are satisfactory.
---
Therefore, by substituting -4 (-4 < -3), -5 (-5 < -3), and -6 (-6 < -3), these values are satisfactory and makes the statement true.
If you would explain your answer, that'd be great, but you can just answer it if you want
What is 4 log Subscript one-half Baseline w + (2 log Subscript one-half Baseline u minus 3 log Subscript one-half Baseline v) written as a single logarithm? 4 log Subscript one-half Baseline 2 Superscript 4 Baseline u squared minus v cubed
The correct answer is B).
The single solution is [tex]log_\frac{1}{2} \frac{w^{4}u^{2} }{v^{3} }[/tex].
What is logarithmic? The exponent to which the base of the logarithm should be raised in order to obtain the number N is the logarithm of any number N, if interpreted as an exponential form. Numerous astronomical and scientific calculations involving large numbers can benefit from its use. As an inverse of the exponential function, logarithmic functions are closely related to exponential functions.
Given Equation
[tex]4log_\frac{1}{2} w + (2log_\frac{1}{2} u - 3log_\frac{1}{2} v)[/tex]
[tex]mlog_an = log_an^{m}[/tex]
equation is
[tex]log_\frac{1}{2} w^4 + (log_\frac{1}{2} u^2 - log_\frac{1}{2} v^3)[/tex]
and [tex]log_an - log_am = log_a\frac{n}{m}[/tex]
and [tex]log_an + log_am = log_amn[/tex]
[tex]log_\frac{1}{2} w^4 + (log_\frac{1}{2} \frac{u^2}{v^3} )[/tex]
and [tex]log_\frac{1}{2} \frac{w^{4}u^{2} }{v^{3} }[/tex]
Hence the equation is [tex]log_\frac{1}{2} \frac{w^{4}u^{2} }{v^{3} }[/tex].

Evaluate. Write your answer as a fraction in simplest form.
2/9 +5/12 -7/18
Answer:
1/4
Step-by-step explanation:
Step 1 : Find a common denominator. We will use 36 as the denominator since 9, 12, and 18 are all factors of 36.
Step 2 : The number you multiple the denominator by must be the same number you multiply its numerator by.
Example : 2/9 To get a denominator of 36 you need to multiply 9 by 4. Now you need to multiply 2 by 4 as well.
Step 3 : Convert fractions into the new fractions
2/9 (times 4 on both sides) = 8/36
5/12 (times 3 on both sides) = 15/36
7/18 (times 2 on both sides) = 14/36
Step 4 : Plug new numbers into the equation.
8/16 + 15/36 - 14/36
Step 5 : Solve
8/16 + 15/36 = 23/36
23/36 - 14/36 = 9/36
Step 6 : Simplify
9/36 (divide by 9 on both sides) = 1/4
