As we continue with the fight against COVD-19 disease, I want to emphasize the  importance  of nutrition, hydration and physical activities. Consumption of a healthy diet and engaging in regular physical activities helps to strengthen our  immune system, lower the risk of chronic illnesses and infectious diseases and also speed up recovery from illness.

While on this, I must say that we have noted with serious concern certain non-factual food and nutrition claims  going round on social media on healing effects of certain food  and drinks. This is not the time to deceive people or engage in public theatrics. While we  encourage act of charity, we advise Kenyan to get factual public health information from official sources

consider Shakespeare to be among those who had “greatness thrust upon them” (paragraph 3)
C

object to the notion that “Some are born great” (paragraph 3)

Answers

Answer:

A

Explanation:

The author’s allusive reference to Shakespeare clearly indicates an assumption that the author makes about his intended audience—that is, that they are sufficiently well-read to recognize to whom he is referring when he quotes, but does not name, “the greatest of poets and philosophers.” It further implies that the audience will share the author’s positive opinion of Shakespeare: after all, the author assumes that quoting Shakespeare will help gain him a favorable reception from the audience.

(I know someone already answered this, I just wanted to provide the explanation from AP Classroom)

The discussion of the “greatest of poets and philosophers” in the third paragraph suggests that the author believes the audience of the speech will:

He believes that his readers will see Shakespeare in a good light which would make them accept and appreciate his works because he is one of the greatest writers ever.

essay describe a time when you dealt with someone who was difficult. how did you handle that situation? what would you do differently if you could do it over again?

When I was in high school, my class entrusted the responsibility of heading the interclass drama competition to me. My team and I have been training to the maximum, but there is someone who is very difficult to work with. He is the main character of the drama that my class showed. Therefore he became arrogant, and everyone had to follow his will. Otherwise, he threatened not to continue training and to resign as the main character.

One day before the show, the main character did not want to wear a makeshift costume. He wanted the nice costumes he used to rent out. Because there were no funds and the main character did not want to budge, one class was confused, and some even cried, including the main character. He was shunned by one class and sat alone. Many of my friends have persuaded him to want to wear the costumes that have been provided. But all efforts ended in failure, and no one wanted to persuade him anymore.

I thought if this continued it wouldn't work. Therefore, I tried to sit down and approach him. First, I pretend to ask what happened by showing empathy and sympathy. Despite his arrogant nature, when someone sympathizes with him, he opens up and shares what he wants.

Slowly and carefully, I say that our class has no money. He was beginning to understand but still wasn't willing to change his decision. I went back to coaxing him again, because our class really didn't have the funds. Finally, he wanted to wear the existing costume in various conditions. Namely, the addition of accessories that make the costume look colorful and not too simple.

After that, I talked to my classmates about the properties of the costume. They agreed to make inexpensive handicrafts such as crowns and necklaces. Finally, there was an agreement between the two. Dealing with someone who is arrogant is indeed difficult. It takes intelligence to think about it. If I faced a similar situation, I would ask him to rent a costume with his personal money only. As a result, there is no need to bother the whole class.
