The characteristics that the study have in order for its results to be considered valid are:
Empirical observationsOutcomes that don't change with new experimentation.Since Isabel is carrying out research and found an environmental study on the relationship between deforestation and local weather, it's important that the material should be valid in order to be accepted.
Therefore, to be valid, it should have the feature of an empirical observations and the outcomes should not change with new experimentation.
Empirical observations simply means the observations that are derived from experiments or based on experience.

Question 3.A statement in the introduction read, “All other factors remained the same between the two groups.” Make a list of factors that must remain constant in the experiment.
4. Referring to question 3, why is it essential that these factors be kept constant?
The factors that must remain constant in the experiment are:
TemperatureRelative humidityLight intensityUsually in an experiment, the factor that is remained the same or are kept constant through out the period of the experiment are called the controlled variables or controlled factors.
Examples of such factors include:
TemperatureRelative humidityLight intensityTake for example, in an experiment to test for the effect of different fertilizers on the growth of a plant, the temperature, relative humidity and light intensity should be kept constant.
The temperature, relative humidity and light intensity here are the external factors that affects the outcome of an experiment and must be kept constant.
That is why is it essential that these factors be kept constant.

explain what density is. How is it different from weight and mass?
Hey there! I'm happy to help!
Density is how much mass there is per amount of space. The formula for it is mass divided by the volume. How much mass is there per (per means divide) amount of space?
Think of it like a room in a house. If the room only has one person, it isn't going to be very dense with people because there is only one person in the entire room. If there were 100 people, it would be very crowded in that room and the whole room would weigh a lot more. If we make our room the size of a huge convention hall though, 100 people wouldn't make it very crowded,. and it would be less dense. So the amount of people (mass) and the size of the room (volume) affect density.
In that sense, density is kind of like how crowded a thing is.
A hollow watermelon has less density than one that isn't because a watermelon that isn't hollow has more substance inside of it (more mass).
Mass is a factor of density because it measures how much of something there is. It can be related to the people in the room.
Weight is mass but with gravitational influence. A watermelon in space is going to weigh less than a watermelon on Earth because in space there is no gravity and it is floating around, but it will still have the same density just like our room full of people would still be crowded even if the people weighed nothing and were floating around.
On Earth though, we measure mass with terms like pounds, kilograms, etc. We use the term mass over weight because it is more scientifically accurate when calculating density.

What kind of life forms were found in the blood falls and what kind of environment did they thrive in?
Answer:
Most autotrophs—organisms able to produce their own energy—are photosynthetic: They require sunlight and oxygen. The extremophiles of Blood Falls, however, do not use photosynthesis. They use a more unusual process called chemosynthesis. Chemosynthetic organisms are able to convert sulfur and iron compounds (not sunlight and oxygen) into energy. As Blood Falls’ chemosynthetic bacteria extract iron from the rocks they come in contact with, they gradually erode the bedrock around the lake.
