The people of this nation share origins with their northern neighbor, but they have since grown far apart. For one thing, they have technically been at war since 1950. Though they were born at the same time, these two countries had different parents. The United States supported South Korea in its infancy. Ora, se não é português, tem que ser outra língua, francês, inglês, alemão...
São dois erros de pedagogia. O professor de hoje reconhece que o aluno vem com a sua modalidade linguística.
Uma língua que só tem uma modalidade é uma língua morta.
O ideal é que o aluno seja poliglota na própria língua, que ele aprenda o maior número de realidades da sua língua e até a língua padrão, porque senão vai cometer vários erros de tradução na própria língua. Como a história do sujeito que foi para o Rio Grande do Sul. Quando chegou ao Paraná, leu em uma placa: "Atenção, tartarugas na estrada". Ele disse para a mulher: "Eu vou diminuir a marcha. A primeira tartaruga que aparecer, você apanha e a gente leva de “souvenir”.
Atravessou o Paraná, Santa Catarina, e nada de tartaruga. Só depois descobriu que tartaruga é quebra-mola.
Claro que todas essas normas de correção, próprias de cada variedade, têm o seu limite: a propriedade do texto. Se você constrói um texto que é uma carta íntima a um amigo, tem a possibilidade de utilizar construções que não estão apoiadas nem documentadas pelas normas da língua padrão. Mas a natureza do termo é que leva a isso. Essa relatividade existe em todas as obrigações sociais.
Quando a gente recebe um convite para uma festa, está lá no convite: traje passeio, ou esporte, ou rigor. O que é isso? É que existe uma etiqueta social. A língua padrão é a etiqueta cultural. Um tipo de modalidade que não é para usar todos os dias.
Há pessoas até que exageram, e o resultado é que normalmente não são entendidas. Tenho um amigo, professor de português, que só fala a língua exemplar, padrão.
Uma vez, saindo do Pedro II, foi assaltado. Gritou, e não apareceu ninguém. Ele ficou aborrecidíssimo. Voltou ao Pedro II e reclamou.
